(More customer reviews)I have very fine, very straight, limp and thick hair. After years of struggling with round brushes and curling irons, I decided to go back to hot curlers. This set has two advantages over my previous efforts with hot rollers: it has storage for the clips so you don't have to keep track of them, and the curlers don't burn your fingers or scalp. I feared that they wouldn't be hot enough to curl my stubborn hair. But, leaving them in for 30 minutes while I did other morning chores, does the trick. The number and sizes of the rollers are just what I need. I do use setting sprays along with it, and the curls last beautifully. It might make curls that are too tight for someone whose hair is easier to curl than mine. But leaving them in a shorter length of time should take care of that problem.
