(More customer reviews)I have always had really long, thick, strong hair. Have never had a problem with my hair until I started using Pantene Beautiful Lengths shampoo about six months ago. I was hoping that I was treating my hair to a more "professional" quality shampoo, but I started to get clumps of hair clogging my shower drains.
At first, I thought it was my health going. I started to dissect what I was eating and how much I was exercising and/or stressing. Nothing had changed since before I started using this shampoo. So, at the suggestion of my fiance, I checked online to see if there had been any recalls. There had. Some women were complaining of going completely stark bald within a few uses of this shampoo. I had suffered from patches of baldness about 1.5" diameter.
My long, thick, luxorious hair has suffered. Now, I'm careful to not purchase any shampoos from Proctor & Gamble. This also includes Herbal Essences (which I've found makes my hair extrememly flat and dead looking anyway)
I'm going through shampoo brands now, it's been three months since I've come off of Pantene Beautiful Lengths and my hair is growing back in. Thankfully I can hide the patches by the way that I pull my hair back into a bun.
*sigh* The damage can be fixed with time, but I'm afraid the damage to Pantene's reputation, for me, is irrepairable.
