It is very soft and resembles permed African american hair which is perfect for me because I am African american so everyone thinks it is my real hair hence the baby hair also. It is a full lace which means it can be worn in a high ponytail which is the style I prefer, yet it is very pretty when flat ironed and worn straight. I recommend this product it is swiss lace which is a different than French and is usually for people who have experience with lace wigs however it does provide that undetectable hairline. Love this wig.
