These curlers are wonderful curlers but if and only if you have a particular type of hair--otherwise your hair will get caught in these as many reviewers report. I have very heavy, very straight hair. If you are like me, these will stay in your hair when nothing else will. The velcro ones fall right out. These grip and stay in and for me (my hair is medium length) they never tangle. If my hair was longer, below my shoulders, though, I'd worry that it might, especially after what others have written.
If your hair is thin and fragile or curly, I don't know if these would work for you.
These curlers come in many different sizes and this is the best assortment pack I've seen of them--for MY hair type--short, just below the chin. I bought these and threw out all of my old slippery velcro curlers. I think that this set is also a good value. A good way of knowing if these will work for you is if you think that velcro curlers are slippery and if they fall out of your hair because it is so heavy and straight. If that's true for you, you'll be delighted with these curlers!
Recommended if you have a certain type of hair.
