When I saw them in a beauty supply store the price of a single strand was around $15 and this came with 6 strands with about 250-300 thick hair strands. The clips are sturdy and secure so no problems getting them to stay in place. The hair was very soft and did not look damaged to the naked eye.
However, when I checked the hair quality under a bright light there were more split ends than I expected. The split ends were not at the end of the hair but more scattered throughout the top and middle portion. From each strand I cut off about 30 split ends. I will say that I am a little OCD about split ends and I have never purchased human hair before so did not know what to expect and that may be completely normal. The low price did make up for the small amount of time to cut out the split ends.
