(More customer reviews)This is approximately the same size and weight of a standard 1800 watt dryer but the air flow is significantly more forceful. I can't tell if it gets hotter than a standard dryer but I think my shoulder length hair dries in about half the time. It has a very long cord and is more quiet than any other blow dryer I've ever used. I've bought several other "salon quality" hair appliances and have found this dryer to be the only one worth the extra money.
